A great weekend!

We had a birthday party for all three boys on Friday.  Twelve boys all came over and played video games. 12 pizzas, 30 l. of soda, 2 birthday cakes, 2 gallons of ice cream, 13 ice cream toppings on the "sundae bar" and 50 snow cones later we snuck (as much as 15 boys ranging in age from 14 to 5 who are hyped up on sugar, 3 moms and a baby in a stroller can sneak) to Jeannines to scare all of the girls that were in her basement for Jessie's birthday sleep over. After the scare we all headed back to our house and settled in for the night. Yes... 10 of the boys spent the night. When I get the energy to drop the film off I will post pictures of my living room the next morning. It looked like a bomb hit it. Bodies flung every which way. Arms and legs flung across neighbors. Neighbors used as pillows. Snoring... lots and lots of snoring.

The boys were happy to hear that Jessie told Jeannine that she ruined her first ever sleep over by letting the boys come over. Don't worry... the next morning she changed her mind and said it wasn't ruined.

Ethan's birthday was yesterday. He and I went birthday present shopping in the morning and then for dinner I grilled shrimp. (I always make the boys wahtever they want for their birthday dinner.) It was a nice birthday.

We are leaving Wendesday for our homeschool camping trip. The "official" homeschool trip is this weekend but I found out that since we reserved the group site we have it from Wednesday to Wednesday. Sounds good to me. It is only $28 a night and is probably the closest thing to a vacation I will get until October. Sandy is going up Wednesday, Colleen is going to come up Thursday and Evie might come up early. We are all the "crazies" so it will be FUN!!

Sandy, Colleen and I decided we would all cook together so Tomorrow Sandy and I are going food shopping. Today we went "everything else" shopping, so we should be good to go.

My mom just called me and told me that she had taken the 10 th off. She is going to borrow my brother's Explorer and drive up here and pick us up. I think she was planning to call from down the street and tell Ethan to "Put the coffee on" and just show up at the house. (She teased him that she was going to do that sometime, so now he expects it.) Luckily, she decided to warn me. I would really hate to pack on such a short notice!

So we will be in Ohio from the 10th until... well, I don't know. Marty wasn't able to take his vacation so he has to come back on the 15th. My family reunion is the 15th and I know once my Grandma finds out we will be in town she will want us to go. We had planned to go to Geauga Lake with my SIL and possibly my brother on the 16 th, and of course if I am going to be in Ohio I have to go to Amish country. Sheesh... I am tired from just typing it!

I got an email today about my webpage. I love hearing from people about it, because to be honest I wasn't really sure anyone ever went there.

The email author explained that she liked my webpage and blog (Thank you!!) and told me that I had a misspelled word on (of all pages) the most misspelled words page. I never even noticed it. Most of the pages are articles I have written or parts of classes I teach.

She said she would appreciate someone pointing it out to her, so she pointed it out to me. I did appreciated her telling me. I just wonder how many times that article has been published and no one (not even my editor!) caught it!

We are guinea pig sitting for Marie next week. I can't wait to have squealing piggies in the house again! I love the sound of happy piggies.
